Reception at the airport: Brazilian delegation arrives in NRW

Just a few days before the start of the Rhine-Ruhr 2025 FISU World University Games, part of the Brazilian delegation arrived at Düsseldorf Airport. The members of the Brazilian team were warmly welcomed by the Rhine-Ruhr 2025 Organising Committee.

Cheerful, albeit somewhat tired after the long flight, five members of the Brazilian delegation landed in Germany on Wednesday evening. Sina Diekmann, Chief Sports Officer at Rhine-Ruhr 2025, and Donna Spethman, Team Lead International Relations, welcomed the guests from South America. They also presented a small gift to the first officials to arrive for the Rhine-Ruhr 2025 FISU World University Games in Germany.

However, the arrival was just the beginning of the work at the Welcome Center at Düsseldorf Airport. In the coming days, operations will become lively and gain momentum. Over 8,500 athletes and officials from around 150 nations are expected!
